As soon I was introduced to Human Givens psychotherapy and counselling in 2009 I was deeply impressed with its clarity and results. I now successfully use it as the basis of my psychotherapy and counselling in Liverpool.
I have a wide variety of experience of working with people from all walks of life and all ages across all the conditions listed on this website. My specialism pages on this site give you more details of each of the areas I have experience of working with.
I have a profound belief in the people I work with and a deep desire to help them reveal more of their inner confidence whatever their circumstances. I bring a tremendous amount of empathy, encouragement and reassuring knowledge and experience into the therapy room to help my clients.
Mental distress is characterised by a lot of confusion and anxiety’ and it is my experience that the Human Givens approach to psychotherapy and counselling offers a truly powerful method that is also very brief and solution focused. You will not need to be therapy with me for very long, I hope you agree is a good thing. You should expect to see a significant improvement in your mood within 6 sessions with me.
I have worked as a teacher, economic reformist, conference organiser, national charity leader and IT consultant in the City of London for the Bank of New York and the Lloyds reinsurance market. I went on to launch social enterprises delivering social and environmental change.
I have had the honour of working with some of the world’s pioneering women in ethical business, including Dr Hazel Henderson and Dame Anita Roddick MBE.
I draw on a rich diversity of experience in economics, entrepreneurship, education, psychology, gender studies and spirituality
